This past weekend the We Are One 365 team: Christy Arndt, Marena Perkins, Kalyn McDonough, Sophie Reddering, Cameron Kerr, Dan Sarsfield,Andrew Rowek, Joe Masciantonio, and Matt Wood completed a Tough Mudder event in the Poconos Mountains.
Through a 12-mile course with 25 obstacles, the team climbed over 12-foot walls, dove into ice baths, and endured 10,000 volts of electric shock on their road to the finish line. The team, though bruised and beaten throughout the four hour treck, finished together, joining hands, and jogging across the finish line as one.

This month, RTNO’s Warriors at Work (WAW), a workforce development program for homeless veterans, received a generous pledge of support from the “We Are One 365” (WAO365) organization.
When this non-profit organization learned about RTNO’s WAW program, WAO365 founder Matthew Wood was eager to support this worthy cause. WAO365’s message is simple, yet earnest: “The men and women in military service have taken care of us, now it is our turn to take care of them”…CONTINUE READING

We Are One 365 is on a mission to remind America what we have forgotten. To instill in our communities what has so often been neglected. To remind ourselves and our communities that our freedom does not come without cost.
To show our gratitude and appreciation for the tremendous sacrifice the men and women in the United States military and their families make, we ask that you pledge support to join our organization. Pledge that when you run, walk, bike, and exercise, you will wear We Are One 365 apparel to raise awareness of the daily sacrifice made by our men and women in uniform and to express our appreciation and gratitude for all they have done and continue to do.

We Are One 365 facilitates running events in major cities, suburban, and rural communities. We intend to bring together groups of people from many different walks of life, all of whom are unified in their willingness to commit to completing a fitness event in honor of our military.
Fitness activities are a central component of We Are One 365 because they are also an integral part of serving in the military and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. These small sacrifices out of our own lives are but one means of expressing our gratitude for the enormous sacrifices made by our military and their families.

Upcoming Runs
A 5k is planned for March 31, 2012 in Baltimore, MD. If you would like to plan a run in your city, please reach out to us at contact@weareone365.org.
We Are One 365 holds events in major cities to raise awareness about the daily sacrifice made by our military and to honor soldiers, families, veterans, and those who have recently lost their lives.
The purpose of these social events is to bridge the gap between military families and military non-affiliated citizens and to remind our communities of the daily physical, mental, and emotional sacrifices made by members of the armed forces.
Upcoming Events
Both Ursinus College and Dickinson College will host events in April 2012. Stay tuned for more details.
